A stage show celebrating 75 years of BBC Radio 4's The Archers, hosted by Angela Barnes, with live performances and cast members.
The Archers are stepping out of the studio and onto the stage at BIC Windsor Hall on Thursday 19 November, part of a national tour marking 75 years of the BBC Radio 4 soap. The whole evening is framed as the Ambridge Flower & Produce Show, with the cast performing live, moments from the BBC archives and the show's unmistakable soundscape. It's a rare chance to hear the voices you know from the radio in the flesh, rather than through a speaker.
On the line-up are Charles Collingwood as Brian Aldridge, Ryan Kelly as Jazzer McCreary, Susie Riddell as Tracy Horrobin and Sunny Ormonde as Lilian Bellamy. Vanessa Nuttall will be there on-the-spot with the sound effects that give the show its life, and the night is hosted by comedian and superfan Angela Barnes. The audience gets involved too: there's The Bull Pub Quiz, a sing-along to the theme tune, a chance to put questions to the cast and some behind-the-scenes revelations.

If you're into the details, there's a souvenir programme and a bespoke tour tea towel available to pre-order, the latter featuring a map of Ambridge painted by Matthew Rice. Age guidance is 14 and over, so it's more of a night out than a family afternoon. Tickets are £57, £47 and £37, all including fees, and the show starts at 7:30pm at the BIC Windsor Hall, Bournemouth.
