The Amazons, a UK indie-rock band known for their explosive live performances, play The Old Fire Station with support from GIA FORD.
The Amazons play The Old Fire Station on Thursday 8 October, with GIA FORD supporting. It's a mid-week one, so if you're heading in from across Bournemouth, you'll want to keep that in mind.
For those who haven't caught them live, the Reading four-piece are known for their explosive energy, anthemic choruses and raw indie-rock spirit. They've built their reputation on the stage, and they're one of the UK's fiercest live bands. They burst onto the scene with their 2017 self-titled debut, which earned a top 10 UK album and widespread acclaim. Since then they've toured relentlessly, shared stages with rock heavyweights and evolved their sound across four albums, the most recent of which is 21st Century Fiction.
That's a fair bit of ground to cover in one set, and with four records behind them, there's plenty to pull from. The night starts with GIA FORD opening, so you'll get two acts for the price of one. It's a 14+ show, so if you're bringing anyone younger, keep that in mind before you book.
