Spoon Pyrography Workshop

Stuart Faulkner is running a spoon pyrography workshop at B.A.D. Boscombe Arts Depot on Saturday 10 October, starting at 13:00. It's a hands-on session where you use hot wood-burning pyrography pens to turn ordinary wooden spoons into pieces of designer kitchenware. You'll be working with Faulkner himself, who is one of the artists in What Emerges and also runs paint nights.

He describes his aim as putting on events where adults can make some time for themselves to paint and create their own unique variations of the original. The workshop is set up for absolute beginners and seasoned arty people alike, so you don't need any prior experience to get involved. It's recommended for over-12s, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Everything you need is provided, so you can just turn up and get stuck in.

Tickets are £5.00 for a 30-minute workshop slot, and free tickets are available for those with low income, outsider artists, asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants.
