Shed Seven

Shed Seven are playing the O2 Academy Bournemouth on Thursday 10 December, as part of their Shedcember X tour. It's one of a run of December dates they're playing across the country, so this is one of the nights they'll be on the road during the run-up to Christmas. The Academic are supporting them, so you'll get two bands on the bill rather than just the one.

For those who know the name but aren't sure where they fit, Shed Seven are a Britpop band from York, and they've been around since the mid-nineties. They're one of the few from that era who've kept going without a long break, and Shedcember X is their way of marking the end of the year with a series of shows. The Academic are an Irish band, and they'll be opening the night before Shed Seven take over.

If you're thinking about it, there are VIP packages available for the night alongside the standard tickets, so you can choose how you want to do it. It's a Thursday night, which is a bit easier to work around than a weekend if you're coming from across town.

The O2 Academy Bournemouth is at 570 Christchurch Road in Boscombe, BH1 4BH. Doors open at 19:00, and the curfew is 23:00, so the whole thing will be wrapped up by then. Shed Seven headline, with The Academic supporting.
