Romesh Ranganathan

Romesh Ranganathan is playing the Bournemouth International Centre in March 2027, with four nights to choose from: Wednesday 17, Thursday 18, Friday 19 and Saturday 20. Each one starts at 8:00pm, so if you're working, the mid-week dates might be easier to fit in than the weekend.

If you've only caught him on the telly, there's a fair bit of ground to cover. He first made a name for himself on the comedy circuit back in 2010, playing top venues across the country and hitting the finals of the Latitude New Act and So You Think You're Funny? that same year, and coming runner-up in the Amused Moose Laugh Off. Since then, he's become a bit of a household name. You'll recognise him from The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, Parents' Evening, Rob & Romesh Vs, A League Of Their Own, The Weakest Link and Can't Knock The Hustle.

He's just as active on the radio and podcasts, too. He's got a long-running Saturday morning show on BBC Radio 2, and he's behind Wolf & Owl, For The Love of Hip Hop and The Romesh Ranganathan Show. In 2015 he starred in Asian Provocateur on BBC Three, where he travelled to Sri Lanka to learn about his parents' country, and a second series, Mum's American Dream, followed in 2016. The reviews have been strong: Three Weeks called him "extraordinarily hilarious" and The Guardian noted his "bitingly fresh gags". In 2016, Ents24 named him one of the five hardest-working comedians of the year.
