A relaxed, social paint-along workshop for beginners to create watercolour pieces of ancient trees, with all materials provided.
Anna Kenny is running a watercolour workshop at The Old School House in Boscombe on Thursday 29 October, from 19:30 to 21:30. The theme is ancient trees, and the whole thing is set up as a relaxed, social paint-along, so it's as much about the company as the painting.
Over the two hours, you'll work with pen and watercolours to paint ancient trees. You can use photos provided for the session, or bring along your own images if you've got a particular tree in mind. It's pitched at beginner artists and creatives who've never tried these materials before, but it's open to all levels, so you're welcome whether you're starting from scratch or just fancy a night of painting with other people. All the materials are provided, and there's tea and coffee on hand, so you don't need to bring anything but yourself. By the end, you'll leave with one to three A5-sized watercolour pieces.
