Michael Starring Ben

Michael Starring Ben comes to the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Thursday 7 October 2027, with Ben Bowman taking the stage as the night's main feature. It's a tribute production built around Bowman, who's billed as the UK's ultimate Michael Jackson tribute star. He's spent years honing the routine to the point where audiences believe they could be watching Jackson himself.

Bowman doesn't do this on his own; he's backed by a live band throughout. The set leans on the greatest hits of Michael Jackson and The Jackson 5, with 'Beat It', 'Billie Jean', 'Thriller' and 'Man in the Mirror' among the songs on the bill. Dazzling costumes are part of the package, and the whole thing is pitched as a night that takes you back in time to remember him. It's a tribute show, so it isn't associated with or endorsed by the Michael Jackson Estate.

If you're thinking of bringing the family, there's an age guidance to keep in mind: under-14s must be accompanied by an adult. The show starts at 7:30pm at the Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre on Westover Road, and tickets start from £21.75.
