Launch party with an exhibition of the BEAF story, a premiere screening of The Outsiders Project and refreshments.
Wickham Works in Pokesdown is opening its doors for one night only on Thursday 8 October, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm, to mark the launch of the Bournemouth Education Arts Foundation. It's a new organisation formed by bringing together TOSH and BEAF Arts Co, two partners that since 2018 have been connecting arts, artists and communities across Boscombe and beyond. The venue itself is the very space where the BEAF story began and home to the first BEAF Festival performance, so it's a fitting place to start this next chapter.
There's a fair bit to see on the night. You'll find an exhibition of the BEAF story, a premiere screening of the short film The Outsiders Project, a look inside the venue, and refreshments. It's a good chance to meet the local creative community, too.
