First Wednesday Tarot Club

First Wednesday Tarot Club is back at Da Nunzio Italian Delicatessen in the Royal Arcade, Boscombe, on Wednesday 7 October at 6:30pm. It's a friendly, relaxed club for anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with the cards, whether you're just starting out or have been reading for years. The sessions run on multiple subsequent Wednesdays too, with 4 November, 2 December, and 6 January listed.

Each month works around a specific theme. It starts with a gentle, accessible teaching section that looks at the cards, their symbolism, and how they show up in real readings. After that, it moves into a hands-on practice session where members read together, try out different spreads, and build confidence in a supportive space. You're welcome to bring your own deck, with the Rider Waite Smith suggested for beginners, or you can borrow one from the shop.

The club is run by Anathema – Dedicated Witchcraft Emporium, and the venue itself does hot paninis, freshly ground coffee, and wine, so you can keep something to eat or drink on the table while you work through the cards. Booking is essential as spaces are limited, and the sessions run from 6:30pm on Wednesday 7 October, with 4 November, 2 December, and 6 January following on.
