Deathcore by the sea

Heirs of Tartarus return to Patch on Thursday 1 October, headlining a night of deathcore that runs from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. They're promoting their debut EP, and the set is built around it, bringing heavy riffs and brutal mosh pits to the room. Joining them are Cerebral Autophagy, death grind veterans from the south of the UK.

The night is part of the second edition of the Arts by the Sea Fringe, which runs from Sunday 27 September to Sunday 11 October. The fringe extends the core festival's creativity to independent venues across the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole areas, and this year's theme is 'ELEMENTAL'. It's powered in collaboration with We Broke Free, South Coast independent music curators and specialists.

Patch is on the first floor of Bobby's & Co, 2-12 Commercial Road, Bournemouth BH2 5LP. Doors open at 6:30pm, and the show is all ages, running for three and a half hours.
