Conversation Café Monthly

Conversation Café Monthly returns to PATCH, on the first floor of Bobby's & Co, on Thursday 1 October. It's a full day of French language and culture immersion, running from 10:00am to 4:00pm, so you'll want to clear your whole morning and early afternoon for it.

The day is built around a few different activities that run one after another. It kicks off with coffee and conversation, then moves into an art workshop, followed by lunch and a beach walk. The whole thing is designed to keep you in French throughout, so you're speaking and listening in the language from start to finish rather than just sitting through a lesson.

The session is part of the Arts by the Sea Fringe, the second edition of which takes the core festival's creativity into independent venues across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. This year's theme is 'ELEMENTAL', and the fringe is run in collaboration with We Broke Free, the South Coast independent music curators and specialists. That means this particular day is one of many happening across the area as part of the wider fringe programme.
