Community gathering with creative workshops, socialising and a homecooked meal at the Social Canteen, part of the BEAF Community Mondays & Fridays series.
Community Fridays are back at The Old School House on Friday 27 November, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This one is part of the Community Mondays & Fridays series run by the Bournemouth Education Arts Foundation (BEAF), a set of weekly gatherings focused on positivity, support and creativity in an inclusive and welcoming space. The session on the 27th features creative workshops led by Claire, so if you've been wanting to make something and didn't know where to start, this is a good place to do it.
The whole thing grew out of the Warm Welcome Spaces BEAF has supported since 2023, and it's built for meeting new friends, relaxing or getting involved in arts and gardening. There's free hot food and tea, free wifi and charging points, so you can just turn up and stay as long as you like. It's not about producing a masterpiece; it's more about the social side of things.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Bournemouth and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
