A tribute concert celebrating the music of Celine Dion, fronted by Lisa Harter with a live band.
Celebrating Celine comes to O2 Academy Bournemouth on Thursday 3 December, a live tribute to the music of Celine Dion. It's fronted by Lisa Harter, who's described as the world's No.1 Celine Dion tribute artist, and backed by a live band under the musical direction of Stephen 'Stretch' Price.
The set pulls from Dion's long career, running from the ballads she's best known for — My Heart Will Go On and Because You Loved Me — to the more uptempo side of things, like River Deep, Mountain High. The production is built around sound, lighting and screen visuals to carry the songs, so it's as much about the stage show as it is about the singing.
On the billing, it's Lisa Harter as 'Celine', with the live band under Stephen 'Stretch' Price's musical direction. The whole thing is presented as a live concert experience honouring Dion's music, rather than a cabaret or a revue, so it's a full band on stage throughout. The setlist covers the range of her hits, from the slow-burn ballads to the bigger anthems.
