Re-release screening of the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale to mark its 20th anniversary, starring Daniel Craig.
Casino Royale is back on the big screen at ODEON Bournemouth on Sunday 4 October, as part of a run of re-release screenings at the cinema. It's the 20th anniversary of the film that rebooted the James Bond franchise, and this is your chance to see it in a cinema again rather than on a telly at home.
Released in 2006 and directed by Martin Campbell, Casino Royale was the one that changed the game for Bond. It was the first time Daniel Craig stepped into the tuxedo, taking the role to a new generation of audiences and stripping the character back to something a bit raw and grounded. Alongside him are Eva Green as Vesper Lynd and Judi Dench as M, and the whole thing still holds up as one of the strongest entries in the series.
It's not the only thing the Odeon is bringing back for a spin. The screening sits alongside a few other re-releases running at the same time, including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Hocus Pocus and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, so if you're in the mood for a bit of nostalgia, there's plenty to pick from. If you've only ever seen the Craig era on streaming, seeing it on a proper screen is a different experience entirely.
