Brandon Flowers plays the O2 Academy Bournemouth on Wednesday 14 October, as part of a tour for his third solo album, THRASHER. It's his first solo record in more than a decade, and the set will be the first time these songs have been played live.

The new material won't be the only thing on the bill. Flowers is pulling from his earlier solo work, Flamingo and The Desired Effect, and he's bringing in songs from The Killers' catalogue too, so the night covers both his time as a frontman and his work on his own.
Flowers describes THRASHER as "a sincere and adventurous document of all the people [he's] known, loved and feared, but also a portrait of a man making peace with himself and with the places, sights and sounds that formed him."
On the practical side, the O2 Academy is at 570 Christchurch Road, Boscombe, BH1 4BH. Doors open at 19:00 and the curfew is 23:00. Priority tickets go on sale Wednesday 1 July at 10:00, with general sale following on Friday 3 July at 10:00. VIP packages are also available.
