Weekly firework displays held every Friday night throughout the summer on Bournemouth seafront.
Bournemouth Friday Fireworks return to the Bournemouth Seafront on Friday 24 July, kicking off a run of weekly displays that keep going throughout the summer. It's a series rather than a one-off, so if you miss the first one, there's plenty more to come: 31 July, 7 August, 14 August, 21 August, and 28 August. That's six Fridays in a row, all at the same spot.

Each display starts at 22:00, so it's a late one. The fireworks go up on the seafront, just east of the Bournemouth Pier, and they're put on by the BCP Council Events Team. It's a free event, which makes it an easy one to drop into on a Friday night without much planning.
Since the displays are weekly, you don't have to rush to catch the first one. You can pick the Friday that suits you best, or go back more than once if you fancy it. The organisers suggest finding a comfortable spot along the coast to watch from, and since the fireworks don't start until ten, there's plenty of time to make a proper evening of it first. You could grab dinner or a few drinks at one of the restaurants and bars around town before heading down to the seafront.
One thing to keep in mind: the organisers have mentioned that things can change, so it's worth checking bournemouth.co.uk or the Love Bournemouth and BCP Council social media channels for the latest updates before you set off. Otherwise, the details are straightforward: every Friday from 24 July to 28 August, 22:00, Bournemouth Seafront, east of the pier, and free to attend.
