Bournemouth seafront is getting a major addition just in time for the peak summer season. A new pop-up beach club, named the Palm Beach Club, is set to open on the West Cliff Beach Bar site, right in front of where the old WestBeach Restaurant used to be. Seventa Events, a local event planning and management agency based on Wallisdown Road, has been awarded the contract by BCP Council to run the space. They are investing over £100,000 into the venue, a move that is also creating around 35 seasonal jobs for the area. Construction is scheduled to start today, 29 June 2026, with the official opening planned for mid-July, running all the way through to September 2026.

The venue is designed to offer a relaxed coastal setting where you can spend the whole day. The plans include bookable sun loungers, dining pods, and a mix of food, drinks, and entertainment. You will be able to head down for breakfast and coffee in the morning, stay for a sunset dinner, or catch the weekend entertainment. It will also be a spot to watch the city's Friday fireworks. Simon Brooks, the director of Seventa Events, mentioned that the goal is to create a vibrant but relaxed beach venue that supports the local economy, building on their previous local projects like Christmas Tree Wonderland.
If you want to keep an eye on their progress or book a spot once they open, you can check out their dedicated website at www.palmbournemouth.co.uk. Seventa Events is managing the entire setup, and they can be reached at hello@seventa.co.uk or by phone at 01202 237 433 if you need to get in touch with the organizers directly. With the opening just a few weeks away, it looks to be a busy addition to the West Cliff seafront this summer.
