Erasure have been a fixture of British pop since Vince Clarke and Andy Bell came together in 1985, and their latest tour is bringing them to the Bournemouth International Centre on Thursday 26 April 2027. It is the Bournemouth stop of their Radio!! Radio!! arena tour, which supports the album of the same name, due out on 12 March 2027. That record is their twentieth studio album and their first new release in six years, described as hopeful and defiant, and it comes with a new single, Wings of Love, which premiered on BBC Radio 2.

There is a twist to the line-up that is worth knowing before you book. Vince Clarke is the tour's musical director but will not be on stage; he is working from San Diego, so the performance is Andy Bell fronting the show. It is a different setup from the duo people expect, but the setlist is built around the new material. Radio!! Radio!! runs to ten tracks: Baby On The Radio Forever, Lucky Boy, Wings of Love, Listen To The Beauty, Where Our Love Hides, Star Clouds, Where Are All The People?, Holy!, Jealousy, and There Ain't No Place Like Home.
Opening the UK dates are Ladytron, the Liverpool electronic outfit formed in 1999. The current line-up is Helen Marnie, Mira Aroyo and Daniel Hunt, with Reuben Wu having been a member from the start until 2023. They are a natural fit for a synth-pop bill, and their set should sit well alongside Erasure's.
On the numbers, Erasure have written more than 200 songs and sold more than 28 million albums worldwide, which gives you a sense of the catalogue they are drawing from alongside the new record. The tour dates were announced on 28 September, and tickets for the UK and European leg go on general sale from 10am on Friday 2 October, so if you want to be there, that is the window to move.
The venue itself is a Bournemouth institution. The BIC sits on Exeter Road, BH2 5BH, and was built between 1982 and 1984, opening its doors on 6 September 1984. It is run by the registered charity BH Live in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, which is a nice bit of local context for a building that has hosted the likes of Erasure for decades. Between the new album, the Ladytron opening and the BIC's history, it shapes up to be a proper night out for anyone who has followed the duo since the eighties.
So, the key details are: Erasure at the BIC on Thursday 26 April 2027, part of the Radio!! Radio!! tour, with Ladytron as special guests and tickets on general sale from 10am on Friday 2 October. The new album lands on 12 March, so there is plenty of time to get familiar with Wings of Love and the rest of the tracklist before the show.
