Payday & Play is back at Lane7 Bullring on Thursday 5 November, with the comedy night starting at 19:00. It's a mid-week spot in the city centre, so it works as a night out that doesn't demand a whole weekend around it.
The night is run by The Social Theory, who put together the line-up. It's a comedy show, and that's the whole of it: a room full of people and a series of acts taking turns on the mic. If you've been to a comedy club before, you know the drill — a few different comics throughout the evening, each with their own set, rather than one long performance from a single name.

Tickets start from £10.00 and you book them through Skiddle, so you can sort yours in advance rather than leaving it to the door. It kicks off at 19:00, which is early enough to have a drink first or head home afterwards without it running into the middle of the night.
