No Handshake, Just Hate

No Handshake, Just Hate comes to TKR Birmingham (Tahir Khan Restaurants) on Friday 16 October, a night of stand-up comedy in the heart of the city. It's a monologue show, so you'll have one person on stage doing their set rather than a rotating line-up of different acts. If you're into the format where a single comic takes the room for the evening, this is exactly that.

The title gives you a fair idea of the tone. No Handshake, Just Hate isn't playing for the polite, middle-of-the-road crowd; it's a bit more confrontational than your usual comedy club night, and the title leans into that. It's the kind of show that works best when you're in the mood for something a bit sharper and less concerned with being liked.

It's taking place at TKR Birmingham, Tahir Khan Restaurants, which is a spot you might already know if you spend any time eating your way through the city. Having the comedy in a restaurant space gives it a different feel from a dedicated black-box club, so it's a good one to keep in mind when you're planning your evening. The show starts at 19:00, so you've got the whole night ahead of you once it wraps up.

Tickets are £20.21, and with the 19:00 start, it's a straightforward Friday night out in Birmingham. If you're after a night of stand-up that doesn't hold back, this is the one to have on your radar.
