Rock & Roll BrewHouse is an independent microbrewery and live music venue at 19 Hall Street, B18 6BS, in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. It is a family-run business. Mark Shepherd started it in the summer of 2011 as Birmingham's only rooftop pub brewery. Lynn Crossland joined in 2014 and now handles all the brewing. The brewery moved to a six-barrel plant in 2016 and settled in its current home in 2020.

The taproom is on the first floor, right above the brewery. Rock memorabilia hangs on the walls, and there are plenty of vinyl records, a cabin called Nick's Cave, sofas and a vintage DJ booth. The venue is dog-friendly.
The beer list focuses on traditional cask ales and seasonal brews. Three real ales are available on site, all brewed on the premises and all vegan: Rock & Roll - Voodoo Mild, a 5% strong mild, plus Rock & Roll - Brew Springsteen and Rock & Roll - Thirst Aid Kit. You can also get cask ale and real cider. A pint costs around £4. Brewery tours are available by arrangement.
Music is a big part of the place. The regular Friday DJ is Coughing Pigeon, a duo formed by Jon Harris and George Bate in November 2018. On Saturday afternoons there are live bands or DJs, with bands playing between 4pm and 6pm and doors opening at 3pm. The venue only books bands that play original material, with no cover bands. Musicians can contact the venue directly, as it does not work with agents. There is no live music in August, because the owners attend festivals. Sunday Scoop takes place on the second Sunday of the month and features art, jewellery, a record stall, upholstery and vintage clothes. It was paused over the summer and is expected to return in the autumn. The listed opening hours show the venue closed on Sundays, so check with them before you go.
The venue is open on Friday from 5pm to 9pm and on Saturday from 3pm to 9pm. It is closed from Monday to Thursday and on Sundays, though the brewhouse bar is open at weekends. Last orders are 30 minutes before closing. The nearest metro stop is about 300m away and Jewellery Quarter station is about 450m away. You can call 07969 759649, email rnrbrewhouse@outlook.com or visit rockandrollbrewhouse.com. The venue is listed as an Asset of Community Value.
