Westlife are in the middle of a seven-show run at The SSE Arena Belfast, and if you have not yet committed to a night, there is still time. The 'Westlife 25: The Anniversary World Tour - 25 Years Of Hits' is spread across late October and early November, with shows on Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28, Thursday 29, Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October, then returning on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 November. It is a long residency for a single city, and the band has been open about how much it means to them: Shane, Nicky and Kian said that Belfast has always held a special place in their hearts, that the crowds here are unbelievable and the atmosphere is like nowhere else in the world.

The first thing to know is that the lineup is not the one you might expect. Mark Feehily is not on the tour, having stepped away due to health issues announced back in February 2024, so the shows are being carried by Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan. Brian McFadden, of course, left the group way back in 2004. The tour itself is a proper anniversary lap, with the setlist leaning heavily on the hits that made them: 'Swear It Again', 'Flying Without Wings' and 'You Raise Me Up' are the big ones, but the show also pulls from across their catalogue, with 'World of Our Own', 'Uptown Girl', 'What Makes a Man', 'My Love' and 'Hello My Love' all getting a look-in. There is a new track in there too, 'Chariot', which was written by Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid and Will Reynolds. The whole thing is built for the back of the room, with costume changes, confetti cannons, choreography and pyrotechnics.
On the practical side, doors open at 6:30pm, though that is subject to change, so it is worth checking before you head down. Tickets are mobile only, which means you have to download them directly to your phone rather than relying on a screenshot, which will not work at the gate. There is a limit of nine per transaction, and a service charge and facility fee apply. If you are bringing younger fans, the general admission areas are restricted to over 14s, and anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. For anyone with a VIP package, entry is through the first door on the left of the main entrance.
It is a lot of history packed into one tour. Westlife formed in Sligo and Dublin in 1998, were signed by Simon Cowell and Clive Davis, and released their debut album on 1 November 1999. Since then they have racked up 14 UK number one singles, 36 number one albums worldwide and over 55 million records sold, making them the UK and Ireland's top-selling album group of the 21st century. The 2026 compilation album, '25: The Ultimate Collection', came out on 8 May, and the tour itself began with two orchestral nights at the Royal Albert Hall in London last October before heading to a thirteen-night residency at the 3Arena in Dublin. Ana Sky is the support act for the UK and European leg, so she is the one warming up the room before the band takes over. Seven nights is a lot of Westlife for one city, but it gives you plenty of choice if you are still deciding which night to go.
