Yannis Pappas

Yannis Pappas is playing the Comedy Mothership in Austin from Friday, August 21, through Sunday, August 23. He's the sole bill for the run, so it's just him on stage for the whole set.

If you haven't come across his work before, Pappas is a stand-up comedian who also hosts 2 Point Lead on AOL. That's the same guy you'll see taking the stage at the Mothership, and the show is built around his stand-up.

He's playing the Fat Man Room, which is inside the Comedy Mothership at 320 East 6th Street. The run covers three nights, and he's doing multiple shows on the weekend. On Friday and Saturday, there are two sets each night—one at 7 PM and another at 10 PM—so you can pick the early or the late one depending on how your night is shaping up. Sunday is a single show at 8 PM.

Between the two sets on Friday and Saturday and the one on Sunday, that's five chances to catch him over the weekend. If you're in town for the whole thing, you can choose the time that works best for you.
