Wendy Colonna plays Ruby's Rockin' RainBowl on Sunday, July 19, as part of the The Band series. She's a singer-songwriter who's been a part of the Austin scene since 2000, originally from Louisiana and raised in Cajun Country music culture. She's released nine commercial albums over the years, and the press has described her in a few different ways: the New York Times called her "ethereal," the Wall Street Journal called her "a gifted singer-songwriter," and the Austin American-Statesman called her "a force of nature."
Her discography runs back to Red in 2003, followed by Right Where I Belong in 2005, Old New Borrowed & Blue in 2007, We Are One in 2010, Barefoot in Belgium in 2011, Nectar in 2013, No Moment But Now in 2017, and Paradigms. She also contributed to a Coca-Cola ad that topped Ad-Week. In 2007, she partnered with ME Television to release Yoga-To-Go, which came as a yoga DVD, CD, and workbook.

Outside of the music, she's a CCA-certified coach and has spent over 20 years as a creative, entrepreneur, and coach.
