Watercolor Workshop - Over the Garden Wall

Hold Out Brewing is hosting a watercolor workshop centered on Over the Garden Wall on Thursday, August 20, from 7 PM to 9 PM. It's part of their monthly paint nights, and the session is led by the host, who keeps things beginner-friendly throughout the evening.

Everyone works from a line-art template illustrated by the host, so you aren't staring at a blank page trying to figure out where to start. Guided instructions carry the night, and all the supplies are provided on-site, meaning you just show up and paint. By the end, you'll have a finished 10x8 painting ready to frame.

Food and drinks are separate, though the venue describes its menu as "much sweeter than algebra class." The workshop runs from 7 PM to 9 PM at Hold Out Brewing, 1208 W. 4th Street, and tickets are $35.
