Wilkins has spent more than 25 years performing full-time, anchoring beloved residencies while touring Texas and beyond. Over that time, he's released several solo records alongside projects with The Mighty Mystiqueros. His work sits in that Americana and folk tradition where the songs are built around the story, and he's spent decades playing them out on the road.
The venue is one of Austin's most recognizable live music rooms. The Saxon Pub opened in 1990 and has hosted well over 22,000 musical performances since then, so it's a place that's seen a lot of different acts come through its doors. It's located at 1320 South Lamar Boulevard in Austin, TX 78704.
