Improvisational comedy show where 15 contestants face trials before a jury of their peers, with the audience deciding the winner.
Up Against The Wall! is back at ColdTowne Theater on Sunday, October 4, at 8 PM. It's a justice-themed improv comedy gameshow, and the whole thing is built around the audience acting as the jury. The Judge and the room decide the fate of a full cast of 'The Accused' through a series of Trials, each played as a shortform improv game. Contestants are eliminated one by one until only one remains up against the wall, who's then declared Innocent and named the winner, with special guests and surprises along the way.
There's a huge cast on deck for this one. Greg Alderson hosts and judges, Jess Mullen is on tech, and Chase Easterling serves as bailiff and announcer. The Accused—the group facing the trials—includes Kian Moghtaderi, Elizabeth Rupp, Andy Hush, Don Girard, Hannah Stealey, Lawrence Krumm, Kat Bell, Jesse Atkinson, Amanda Chen, Zainab Haider, Riley Kendall, Jeffrey Chatman, Oscar de la Garrza, Jo Gardino, Wesley Wilde, and Justin Wilhelm. With sixteen performers in the mix, the elimination process has plenty of ground to cover before it gets down to that final person.
