Evening with live music from Matt Salois, food trucks, and adult beverages at the Wildflower Center.
Matt Salois plays the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center on Tuesday, October 6, as part of the Tuesday Twilights series. It's a weeknight show, so you can catch it and still be home in time for a normal Tuesday night.
Tuesday Twilights is a low-key spring ritual the Wildflower Center runs on Tuesday evenings from March 24 through May 12. The center keeps its gates open into the golden hour, turning the evenings into a mix of nature therapy, live music, and food-truck dining set against 284 acres of native Texas landscape, backed by UT Austin's field station. It's pitched as a relaxed, weeknight-friendly alternative to the packed weekend festivals or city-wide events like SXSW Austin 2026. You get extended evening access to the gardens, trails, and observation spaces, with rotating Austin musicians on the bill and local food trucks serving drinks.
Among the grounds' standouts are the Family Garden and the pollinator habitats, and the Woodland Trail, which stays cooler and quieter than the main gardens. If you're not in the mood to stay put, you can wander the trails before or after the music. Onsite parking is free.
