Stand-up comedy show featuring Tony Baker at Cap City Comedy Club in Austin.
Tony Baker is headlining Cap City Comedy Club on Friday, September 11, at 7 PM. He'll be performing in The Red Room, one of the club's smaller, more intimate spaces, which usually means you're close enough to see the expressions and catch the timing of the set.
Baker is a Chicago stand-up, actor, and social media personality who's built a following around a very specific kind of humor. He's known for his 'Bakerisms'—those quotable phrases like 'Skibbity Paps', 'Cram', and 'Look At Who Ya Came To See' that tend to stick with you long after the show is over. He got his start in college, moving from theater into stand-up, and has spent the years since building a career that spans the stage, the screen, and the internet.
On stage, he headlined The Bald Brothers tour, which sold out theaters worldwide and now streams as the special Bald Brothers: A Freestyle Comedy Show on Tubi. He also released the stand-up special Scaredy Cat. If you've come across him on social media, that's where a lot of those signature phrases first took hold.

Beyond the comedy clubs, he's worked his way into television and film. He appeared on Marlon Wayans Presents The Headliners on HBO, The Carmichael Show, HBO's All DEF Comedy, Black Lady Sketch Show, and TruTV's Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks. He was also a two-time finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing during seasons 8 and 9. In 2025, he landed a cameo opposite Keke Palmer and SZA in One of Them Days and earned a nomination for Outstanding Social Media Personality at the 56th NAACP Image Awards.
It's a single-headliner bill, so the night centers on his set. The show is Friday, September 11, at 7 PM in The Red Room at Cap City Comedy Club in Austin.
