The Red Room at Cap City: Chris Munch

Chris Munch brings his Bleshings tour to The Red Room at Cap City Comedy Club on Wednesday, August 26, with fellow comedian Adam Bush joining him. The show starts at 8 PM.

Munch is an actor, comedian, and writer who's been performing for cameras and live audiences for over 20 years. He's best known for the characters he's built on social media: the unsettling yet funny Stephen Stephens and MLM Chad, and the good-hearted southern minister Pastor Bobby. Between them, those personas have pulled in millions of views and more than 300,000 followers.

Adam Bush comes from a similar background. He's a preacher turned comic who recently wrapped up a run on Preacher Lawson's Best Day Ever tour, and he has a Dry Bar comedy special streaming now. He'll be on the bill alongside Munch for the Austin stop of the tour.

The Red Room is a contemporary space at Cap City that brings stadium-sized talent into an intimate theater. Shows here average about an hour and forty minutes and typically follow a three-act format: an opener, a feature, and a headliner. The club is non-smoking, serves a wide selection of food and craft beers, and enforces a two-item minimum in the showroom. The show is Wednesday, August 26, at 8 PM.
