The Peterson Brothers play The Continental Club on Saturday, September 26. They're a sibling guitar duo from Bastrop, Texas, led by Glenn Jr. and Alex, and they blend soul, funk, blues and jazz with jam-band improvisation. They hold a weekly residency at the club, so this is one of their regular nights on South Congress.
They've toured the United States and shared stages with Gary Clark Jr., Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Buddy Guy and the late B.B. King. They've also played festivals across the country, including the Chicago Blues Festival, Austin City Limits, the Kerrville Folk Festival and the King Biscuit Festival. Mark Murray of Sun Radio has called them "the future of Austin music."
