They're an Austin duo that's been playing their own blend of Americana for over a decade—a mix of classic soul, funk, blues and jazz. The pair is made up of Glenn Jr. on vocals and guitar, and Alex on bass, vocals and violin; Alex is also a GRAMMY® award-winning artist.
Their sound comes from a specific place. When they were younger, their mother and grandmother gave them a treasure trove of albums and a turntable they'd found at a garage sale, and they spent their time absorbing the records inside. The names that come up are the Isley Brothers, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Brothers Johnson and B.B. King—soul, funk and blues that you can still hear in the way they play together.
