Independent marketplace and craft fair with 150+ makers, workshops, live art installations and rotating DJ sets in the Red River Cultural District.
The Front Market returns to the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park on Saturday, November 21, and Sunday, November 22, from 11 AM to 5 PM each day. It's an outdoor exhibition and fair that brings together more than 150 independent craftspeople and makers in the Red River Cultural District, with rotating DJ sets, workshops, and live art installations running throughout both days. The whole thing is family-friendly and dog-friendly, so you can bring the kids and the dog along.
The market is curated and produced by Future Front Texas, an Austin-based 501c3 arts and culture nonprofit that puts women and LGBTQ+ creatives at the front. Since 2016, the market has welcomed more than 50,000 guests and more than 2,500 Texas artists, makers, and craftspeople, growing into one of the city's largest and longest-running craft markets. Beyond the market, the nonprofit produces The Front Festival and hosts seasonal shows and workshops at its East Austin creative space, which draws over 25,000 visitors a year. This edition returns to the Red River Cultural District following a record-breaking Spring Season that drew more than 7,500 visitors from across Texas.
