A local market featuring handmade and vintage items from Austin vendors, including art, jewellery, home decor and pottery.
The Austin Flea is back at The Brewtorium on Saturday, September 5, from 12 PM to 4 PM. It's a one-day market that brings together local makers and vintage sellers under one roof, and this particular edition has a long list of vendors to work through.
If you've been around the Austin scene for a while, you know the drill with the Flea. They've been gathering local, handmade, and vintage vendors since 2008, and they hand-pick the lineup for every show. The rule is strict: no imports and no mass-produced items. That means everything you see is made here or sourced as a vintage find, not something shipped in from a warehouse. The mix usually covers original artwork, jewelry, bath and body products, candles, textiles, home decor, pottery, and vintage treasures. If you can't make it in person, they also run a Virtual Flea for shopping online.
For this Saturday, the lineup is deep. You'll find ceramics from Bray & Clay, and work from Artistic Dilemma, Spooned By Layne, Asa&Rae, and Angie-A-Vintage. Bionic Pigeon Designs, Couture Home & Body, Lemon Joy Clay, and Pan HuasTexas are all on the list, along with Printmaker Matt, The Concord, and Slowpoke Tattoos. Rounding out the group are BookSpring, Roadhouse Creatives, M squared jewelry, Pake, Seditious Seraphim, and PINK FLAMINGO CANDLE. It's a wide spread, so you can spend as much time as you want on one table or drift through the whole room.
