A special flea market featuring local vendors selling handmade and vintage items at The Brewtorium, part of the venue's First Saturdays series.
The Austin Flea is setting up shop at The Brewtorium on Saturday, October 3, from 12 PM to 4 PM. It's part of the venue's 'First Saturdays,' a day of shopping, eating and drinking built around local makers. If you've been around the city a while, you probably know the name: the flea has been gathering local, handmade and vintage vendors in Austin since 2008. The organizers hand-pick the lineup for each show, and they stick to a strict rule: no imports or mass-produced items. That means everything you'll find is original artwork, jewelry, bath and body products, candles, textiles, home decor, pottery and vintage finds. If it's not made by hand or found in a thrift store, it doesn't make the cut.
The lineup for this one is a good cross-section of that. You'll find MilkMade, Madame Sophy, Angie-A-Vintage, Sparkle Pony Retro, Pan HuasTexas, Sednova's Creations, Viking Shield Jewelry, Printmaker Matt, Lisa Eisenbrey Art Studio, Bionic Pigeon Designs, Lena Kaur Creations, PINK FLAMINGO CANDLE and LottiePopClub. Between them, that covers the jewelry, the art, the candles and the vintage, so there's plenty to look through regardless of what you're after.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Austin and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

If you can't make it in person, they also run a Virtual Flea for those who prefer to shop online, and artists can apply to vend at upcoming shows. The Brewtorium is at 6015 Dillard Circle #A, 78752, and tickets aren't required to attend. It runs from 12 PM to 4 PM, so you've got a full afternoon to wander through.
