A pop-up night market featuring local handmade and vintage items, live music, food and drink, with vendors including LottiePopClub and Good Dogs Bakehouse.
The Austin Flea is setting up shop at Nomadic Outpost on Saturday, August 29, from 6 PM to 10 PM. It's a night market, so the shopping happens after dark, and it's free to get in—all ages welcome, no tickets required.
If you've never been, here's the deal: The Austin Flea has been gathering local, handmade, and vintage vendors across the city since 2008. They hand-pick every show and stick to a strict rule against imports and mass-produced items. That means everything you see is made by Texas crafters and makers, not shipped in from somewhere else. You'll find original artwork, jewelry, bath and body products, candles, textiles, home decor, pottery, and vintage finds.
The night market format adds a few more things to the mix. There's live music from Jess Helios & the Crew and Big Bad, and local beer and food on hand. The vendor list for this one includes LottiePopClub, Good Dogs Bakehouse, THe Concord, Lyzz Lynx Permanent Jewelry & Ear Piercing, Pan HuasTexas, Printmaker Matt, PINK FLAMINGO CANDLE, Arcane Chroma, Grimm's Toys, and Bright Studios. If you're a maker yourself, you can apply to vend at upcoming shows.
