The Astrology of Now

The Astrology of Now is back at the Austin Public Library Windsor Park Branch on Thursday, July 23, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM. It's a free, ongoing monthly astrology class and community discussion, so if you missed the previous ones, this is a good time to jump in.

Each session looks at the astrological energies people are living through right now, blending big-picture transits with practical chart-reading techniques. The conversation draws on both the current sky and the birth charts of the people in the room, and the whole thing is built around an open discussion about how astrology actually shows up in real life. Beginners and experienced students are both welcome, and the goal is to learn, reflect, and build fluency in astrology as a living, evolving practice rather than just a set of static rules.

The program is primarily in English. If you want to get your own chart into the mix, there's a nice perk: you can submit your birth date, birth time, and city and state in advance, and they'll have your astrology chart printed in color for free at the start of the meeting. It's a good way to see exactly how the current transits are hitting your own map without having to do the legwork yourself.

It's free to attend, and it runs from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at the Windsor Park Branch of the Austin Public Library.
