The Texas Woodworking Festival returns to the Palmer Events Center from September 25 to 27, 2026. It's a woodworking trade show that brings together furniture makers, lumber yards, tool manufacturers, content creators, and antique dealers under one roof. Tool sales and demonstrations run alongside an educational symposium, networking, and parties, and the whole thing is produced by TWF LLC and the Austin School of Furniture, which it also benefits. The festival's tagline, 'Keep Woodworking Weird,' is a nod to Austin's own motto.
This year's edition spans two and a half days of classes, lectures, demonstrations, workshops, and meetings. The programming is spread across a range of spaces, from intimate classrooms for smaller sessions to a large theatre for the bigger talks. It's a mix of hands-on learning and watching pros work, so you can spend your time however you like—taking a class, listening to a lecture, or just walking the floor.

The schedule starts on Friday, September 25, with the Content Creator Track running from 12 PM to 6 PM. The main exhibition and education program takes over for the weekend: Saturday, September 26, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday, September 27, from 9 AM to 3 PM. If you're into the making side of things, the main exhibition is where you'll find the tool makers and lumber yards; if you're there to learn, the education side is where the classes and lectures happen. The festival is at the Palmer Events Center, 900 Barton Springs Rd, in Austin.
