A street food tour experience featuring over 50 vendors serving Texas, Louisiana and national cuisine, with live music, as part of the Austin Food Fest.
The Texas Street Food Tour takes over Republic Square on Sunday, October 18, from 1 PM to 9 PM. It's part of the Austin Food Fest, which is billed as the city's premier food festival, and it brings together local and national restaurants, eateries, cafes, and food trucks alongside live music from some of Texas's best bands.
The tour is built around a real food-festival experience. You'll find more than 50 hand-picked vendors representing Texas, Louisiana, and the rest of the country, with the menu stretching from tacos and gumbo to vegan burgers and BBQ. Local bands play throughout the day, so the music runs as long as the food does.
It's a long day, eight hours from early afternoon into the evening, which gives you plenty of time to work your way through the vendors without having to rush. The music is a constant, not a single set, so you can drift between the food and the stages as you like.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Austin and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
