Sunday Best with The Merles

The Merles play The ABGB on Sunday, September 20, from 4 PM to 7 PM. They're the sole feature of the afternoon, taking the stage at the Austin Beer Garden & Brewery on West Oltorf.

The show is part of Sunday Best, a series hosted by Austin Honky Tonk & Rockabilly that showcases the city's country dance music. The setup is a bit different from your usual stage: the band plays around the table right next to the dance floor, so you're close to the music and the dancers. The organizers invite everyone to come out dancing in their Sunday best, and there's a lot of room to do just that.

If you're not a regular on the dance floor, it's still a good spot to spend a Sunday afternoon. The ABGB is a beer garden and brewery, so you can grab a drink and watch the room fill up. Parking is available in the lot on-site, which makes getting there and leaving easy.
