Stand-up comedy show featuring Steven Rogers, a New York City-based comedian known for opening for Brian Regan and appearing on major late-night shows.
Steven Rogers is headlining Cap City Comedy Club on Thursday, August 20, at 7:30 PM. He's a New York City-based comedian originally from Syracuse who tours the country, and this is his night in Austin.
If you haven't come across him before, he's a regular on the late-night circuit, with appearances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and the Late Late Show with James Corden. His album Before He Was Super debuted at number one on iTunes, and he's played several comedy festivals, including the Lucille Ball Comedy Fest, Limestone, and the Rogue Island Comedy Festival. He's also spent a good deal of time as an opener for Brian Regan in theaters across the country.
Cap City bills itself as a contemporary room that brings stadium-sized talent to an intimate theater, and their shows usually run about an hour and forty minutes. A typical night there is built around three acts: an opener, a feature, and a headliner. Rogers takes the headliner spot for this one.
