Concert by the post-hardcore and metalcore band Static Dress at The Mohawk in Austin, with support from I Promised The World, Car Underwater and concealer.
Static Dress play The Mohawk on Friday, November 20, 2026. They're the headliner for the night, and they've got three support acts opening for them: I Promised The World, Car Underwater, and concealer. That's four bands in one bill, so it'll be a full evening of music.
Static Dress formed in Leeds, England, back in 2018. They work in post-hardcore, metalcore, and emo, and they're known for building immersive multimedia worlds around their music and putting on dynamic live shows. They've put out albums like Rouge Carpet Disaster and Injury Episode, and they've collaborated with Underoath. Along the way, they've picked up a few nods from the press: Kerrang! named them Best New Band, and the Heavy Music Awards gave them Best Breakthrough Live Artist.
If you're not familiar with them, that post-hardcore and metalcore description covers the heavier side of things, and the emo part brings in the more melodic, vocal-driven moments. The multimedia side is a big part of how they present themselves, so there's more to their live set than just the music on stage.
