A themed movie night screening of 'Spice World' with the Spice World Experience, including photo opportunities, friendship bracelets and British food from Lynny's ATX.
Hyperreal Film Club is screening Spice World on Friday, October 2, at their space on Chicon Street. The movie is a late-Nineties take on the 'real music artists on a fictional adventure' genre, with the Spice Girls roaming Britain in a double-decker bus. The plot runs from alien abduction to a best friend's water breaking on the dance floor.
The screening is the second half of the night. It opens with the Spice World Experience, which means arriving early for photo ops, friendship bracelets, and light British fare from Lynny's ATX. The movie follows.
Hyperreal Film Club is an Austin organization that specializes in unique movie-watching experiences in unusual, thoughtful, and immersive pop-up environments, and in amplifying local artists.
