A night of unapologetic Latino comedy featuring rising stars JoseNotJuan and Nana Rodriguez at the Cap City Comedy Club.
JoseNotJuan and Nana Rodriguez are taking the stage at Cap City Comedy Club on Saturday, November 14, for a double bill of Latino comedy. JoseNotJuan is bringing his La Mala Tour to Austin, and he's sharing the night with Rodriguez, who brings her own unfiltered perspective to the lineup.
If you've come across JoseNotJuan on social media, you probably recognize the characters he's built a following around—Grandma Paula and Hood Dora, along with his Besties reels. His stand-up pulls from family, culture, relationships, and everyday life, and he's had a presence on Netflix and SiriusXM's It Was A Joke Radio. He also hosted the 2026 San Diego Pride Festival. He describes the La Mala Tour as unapologetic Latino comedy, performed with one mic and zero filter.
Nana Rodriguez works from a similar place. She brings a bold, unfiltered point of view to the stage, finding the funny in Latino culture and in the life experiences that have shaped her perspective. She's performed at the Latina Comedy Festival and Laugh After Dark Comedy Fest, and she appeared on Mario Lopez's Wey Out Loud.
