Stand-up comedy special event with comedian Aaron Branch at Cap City Comedy Club.
Aaron Branch is playing Cap City Comedy Club on Wednesday, October 21, at 7:30 PM. He's a comedian, writer, actor, and artist who started stand-up at 16, and six months later he was named Best Comedian in Kansas City at Stanford & Sons Comedy Club. He became a regular there, hosting and opening for headliners like Dave Coulier, Carlos Mencia, TJ Miller, Michelle Wolf, and Iliza Shlesinger.
These days you're more likely to see him on screen than on a club stage. He's a series regular on the Netflix show Unstable, starring Rob Lowe, and a recurring panelist on The Kevin Langue Show on YouTube. This is one of those nights where he steps back into the room and does what he started with at 16.
If you haven't been to Cap City in a while, here's how the room works: it's an 18+ venue with general admission seating on a first-come, first-served basis, so if you want a good spot, you'll want to get there early. There's also a second-floor balcony with reserved seats assigned by management. And keep in mind there's a two-item minimum per person, so you'll be expected to order a couple of drinks or snacks while you're there.
