Solo piano recital by Sir Stephen Hough in an exclusive premium experience setting at Kodosky Manor.
Sir Stephen Hough plays a solo piano recital at Kodosky Manor on Friday, February 19, 2027. It's presented by ATX Chamber Music and Jazz, and it marks his return to the city after a celebrated appearance with them back in 2025.
If you aren't familiar with him, Hough is a rare triple threat: pianist, composer, and writer. The Economist once named him one of Twenty Living Polymaths, and he was the first classical performer to receive a MacArthur Fellowship. He's a Juilliard faculty member and was knighted for Services to Music, and he's spent more than four decades performing with the world's leading orchestras, recording over 70 albums for Hyperion Records. This is a solo outing, so it's just him and the piano.
The recital is part of ATX Chamber Music and Jazz's fourth season, which they're calling their most ambitious yet. That same season adds the inaugural ATX Jazz Fest in April 2027 and continues the 'Everyone Deserves Art' education initiative run by co-artistic directors Geoffrey Herd and Anna Petrova. This particular show is staged as an intimate premium experience at Kodosky Manor, a Spanish-style villa.
