Sentimental Family Band is back at Sagebrush on Wednesday, August 19, playing with Hill Country Two-Step. The night kicks off at 7 PM in South Austin.
If you're not already familiar with the setup, Hill Country Two-Step runs a regular program of dance lessons and live-music nights at Sagebrush and other Austin-area venues. Before the band takes the stage, they hold advanced and intermediate two-step classes that are open to everyone, so you can get some dancing in before the music starts.
Sentimental Family Band is a regular at Sagebrush. They've played the South Austin venue several times, including a Saturday Night Special alongside Melissa Carper and Theo Lawrence, and the venue's five-year anniversary party with Mayeux and Broussard and Matt Tedder. This is another one of those nights where the dancing is as much a part of the evening as the music itself.
