Stand-up comedy night featuring comics from Comedy Mothership, Kill Tony, SXSW and Don't Tell Comedy at Alamo Drafthouse Mueller.
Secret Level brings another stand-up comedy night to Alamo Drafthouse Mueller on Friday, August 14, with a lineup drawn from some of the biggest names in the city's current comedy scene. The show is run by Austin comedian and producer Chris Tan, who books the room with comics from Comedy Mothership, Kill Tony, SXSW, and Don't Tell Comedy. If you've been following the local scene, those are the rooms where a lot of the city's most talked-about sets are happening right now, so seeing them all on one bill is a good way to catch a cross-section of what's working in Austin comedy.
The show takes place inside Alamo Drafthouse Mueller, a six-screen theater that runs new releases, family and independent films alongside the cinema's signature repertory titles. The room itself is an intimate, carnival-themed bar with a full kitchen menu, Sony 4K digital projection, bi-amplified QSC digital audio, and oversized reclining seats with individual tables. There's also the Barrel O'Fun cocktail lounge on the first floor if you want to grab a drink before the show starts.
