Secret Level is bringing a stand-up comedy show to Alamo Drafthouse Mueller on Friday, August 7. The lineup pulls from some of the biggest names in the current comedy scene: the Comedy Mothership, Kill Tony, SXSW, and Don't Tell Comedy.
If you've been following the Austin comedy circuit lately, those names should ring a bell. The Comedy Mothership is Joe Rogan's club, which has become a hub for some of the most talked-about sets in the city. Kill Tony is the roast-heavy show that's built a huge following around its open-mic format. SXSW brings in the festival crowd, and Don't Tell Comedy is known for its blind-lineup approach, where you don't know who's performing until they step on stage. This show brings together comedians from all those different circles for one night.
Because the lineup draws from such a wide range of backgrounds, you'll get a few different styles of comedy in one sitting. You'll see performers who have worked the Mothership room, comics who've gone through the Kill Tony gauntlet, and people who've played the SXSW circuit.
