Acoustic session with Sean McHargue, lead singer of The Ransom Brothers, and Nate Miller.
Sean McHargue and Nate Miller play an acoustic set at The Saxon Pub on Wednesday, July 29. It's a stripped-back pairing that puts two voices and their guitars at the center of the room, with McHargue taking the lead.
If you know McHargue from his work with The Ransom Brothers, you've heard him as the band's lead singer. This is a different side of that voice. Instead of the full band sound, he's playing acoustic alongside his friend Nate Miller, which changes the whole feel of the thing. It's a smaller, more direct setup—just two people on stage with their instruments, no one else filling out the sound.

That's the whole of it: McHargue, the voice from The Ransom Brothers, and Miller, playing along with him. The set runs from 6 PM to 7:30 PM, so it's an early evening show that wraps up before the night really gets going. If you're around the neighborhood on a Wednesday, it's an easy one to drop into.
